Grandma Zee moves in....

Moving day finally arrived.... and it was cold!  But no snow or ice.... so we considered it all good.  Braden had a few friends come over to help and our home teacher brought a few other strong arms.  It took less than an hour to unload the van.   Now Grandma Zee is getting it all put together.  I'll post those pictures in a week or so once she has it whipped into shape.

not as much stuff as I thought...
that's a good thing!

staying warm while directing trafffic

Braden was awesome at helping!

Messy but wonderful kitchen

It is a beautiful Sunday morning and so I headed out to take a few pictures of our (almost) finished yard.
Not that I think it will ever be finished.
What is life without projects?
The front.

The back.

dang, I'm tired!

We got a pallet of flagstone delivered...
Very, very heavy flagstone.
So we can have pretty walkways and a fire pit.
So we can have S'mores.
Of course.

Furniture dollies aren't just for furniture any more.

big, strong Braden.

bigger, stronger Robert.

After three trips to Home Depot -
we got the right one.

girls are strong too, you know!

Next we (that would be Robert) have dig down
for each  flagstone, put down sand and then replace each one.
UGH.

Mom watering the new plants.

my cute little japanese maple.
with a few flowers.

next week's project is to spread all this mulch.
ugh.
