Peacocks.

We have over 20 wild peacocks that roam our neighborhood....  yes I love living in Lehi!!

The neighbors say they eat their tomatoes and berries, so the novelty will probably wear off next year.  They are beautiful and so fun to watch.  These pictures were taken in our (oh - so - beautiful) back yard)

This is actually an albino peacock.
Never knew there was such a thing!

Koreans, old missionaries and s'mores. Life is good.

We invited the missionaries that taught Song and Sophia in Lubbock to go up the canyon for dinner.  Song, Sophia and Jin had never cooked over a fire before or had S'mores.  It was a blast!  At first I kept calling them Elder Bawden and Elder Root, but by the end of the night I was able to transition to first names :)

Shea said it wasn't cold.

two Koreans thinking..
"American children are crazy."

I've missed campfires for SEVEN years!

I guess it was a good thing there wasn't a
picnic table for my table-cloth.

Jin watching Bobby burn his marshmallow to a crisp and then
eat it was hilarious... but I didn't get that picture.  You'll
just have to imagine it.

Sophia's first time eating a S'more.
"delicious!"

Thomas jumping the fire...
bravery comes in all forms.

Moving day... random shots

I'm not sure who all had the camera on moving day... but there were some pretty random shots.  Eight just of my living room ceiling fan.  Strange.  We were so grateful for all the help.  The Law fam came down, Braden had four people from his trumpet section and Song, Sophia, Sophia's dad and Song's cousin all were here to help.  Everything was in the house in just 90 minutes!

Song.

All I could do was sit and pull things out of boxes.
Sophia and Tammy put my kitchen away :)

I call her Cinderella.

Sophia brought Korean food.

Good day at the lake

My friend Kristi invited me up to her parents cabin in Idaho to sit on the boat and let the kids play.  That's what I call a perfect day!

I broke my foot... plus pictures for Grandma Zee

Yesterday, Shea and I were at the house and I slipped on gravel by the driveway.  Found out today one bone is broken in two spots.  THIS REALLY SUCKS!!  I realize that I need to learn patience.  But not this month.    This month, I need to move into my house and work on my yard and.... ALL THAT STUFF!!

Okay, enough venting.  At least I don't need surgery and at least it isn't hurting too badly.

Shea took the camera and got a few shots for Grandma Zee.....  We move in one week!!

Shea's room - her mattress will go inside the built-in bed.

Braden's room with shelves.
Which I am sure will always be neat and tidy.

Railing going upstairs.  I love the colors!

Looking out our deck after the trees were trimmed.
There is quite a bit more to do, but at least the big stuff is out of the way.

Beautiful trees and pile of wood!!

Mom's patio

I like the terraced rocks to the left.

These rocks were supposed to be terraced...
they are coming back next week to fix it.
The other area is for our orchard.

Driveway is in.
stamped concrete looks great!
