Memorial Day

Saturday we went to the beach.  A little chilly..

Sunday we drove up St. Charles Canyon looking for Bloomington lake.

Didn't find the lake - but found lots of mud.

Monday, I took Braden for a walk and Robert took the girls up Fish Haven Canyon in the ranger.

Tell me again why I need to have a real job??
Oh... to pay for our time in the mountains and at the lake.

Melting Pot

We set a goal quite a while ago to finish the Book of Mormon as a family.  The reward was dinner in Salt Lake City at the Melting Pot (a fancy fondue restaurant).   Sunday we finally finished and so on Monday had our fondue feast.

The first course was cheese sauce with bread, vegetables and apples for dipping.

Kayaking

We borrowed Kayaks from a friend and took Kayla and Tyson

to the Jordan River today for a little fun.

Race for the Cure 5k - SLC

I headed up to SLC early this morning with some

friends to walk the Komen 5k breast cancer race

Gorgeous day for me and my 14,000 bff's to wear pink and 

stroll the streets of Salt Lake City

Spring at the Cabin

I cut down over a hundred aspen saplings in the backyard.

Robert chopped out a huge root.

Greg worked on the weeds.

I obviously did most of the work.

next we are going to move the propane tank so the

backyard will be more open.
