Every year my company invites Realtors to a turkey shoot. Really it was pigeons. Clay ones. But who cares about all those little details.
I brought my girl team. Joli, Karen and Lori. I was the only inexperienced one. And the only one scared of the gun. But I LOVED it! I shot three of those neon pink pigeons. (but I won't tell you out of how many shots.) I also learned a few things:
- it's shells. not bullets.
- 12 gauge is bigger than 20 and a 410 is for wimps like me. (I shot all three)
- guys like to make fun of girls like me.
- but then they dish out some great advice.
- because they know you still won't be better than them.
There was an AMAZING sunset.
We started with Annie Oakley
I lost.
shocker.

I knew what a 410 was....smart Grandma.....
You are rockin' some cute jeans!
I've never even held a gun, so you are way ahead of me! Good thing I wasn't on your team.
You look good, my friend! Looks like it was a good time. Maybe I should take Greg up on his offer to take me shooting, huh?
