Hurricane Alex decided to drop

of rain on Lubbock this holiday weekend.

After Shea repeatedly lamented that this was the worse 4th of July EVER,
the best dad ever made donuts with her.
Then Shea decided to make her own red, white and blue fireworks...
baking soda and vinegar :)

I think that looks like a FUN 4th of July! Sometimes a little change is good, right? Way to be creative!
